Qualification

Qualifications acceptable for graduate admissions include the following:

  • Applicants should have a good (BSc) First Degree (Minimum of 2nd Class Lower) in the following science-based courses: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physician Assistantship, Pharmacy, Nursing, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy and Radiography. Graduates whose courses are not listed would only be considered on the basis of their WASSCE/SSSCE Examinations.
  • Candidates should have obtained a good WASSCE/SSSCE grade in three (3) Core (English, Core Mathematics and Integrated Science and Three (3) Elective (Chemistry and Physics, Elective Mathematics or Biology) subjects.
  • There should be evidence of having completed National Service (if applicable).

    All Applicants must take note that the process for admission to the Accra College of Medicine is very transparent.  Applicants should therefore beware of any persons who may approach them on the pretext of assisting them gain admission for a fee.

    Entry Requirements

    2021/2022 Entry Requirements – GRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR 

        1. Applicants should have a good (BSc) First Degree (Minimum of 2nd Class Lower) in the following science-based courses: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physician Assistantship, Pharmacy, Nursing, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy and Radiography. Graduates whose courses are not listed would only be considered on the basis of their WASSCE/SSSCE Examinations.
        2. Candidates should have obtained a good WASSCE/SSSCE grade in three (3) core and Three (3) Elective subjects.
        3. There should be evidence of having completed National Service (if applicable).
        4. Admissions will be into Level 200.

    Short-listed applicants will have to pass an interview and/or entrance examination.
