Elective Courses
The Elective Courses are taken during the long inter-semester breaks between the end of one academic year and the next for a duration of four (4) weeks. The elective courses are in three groups and each student is expected to take at least one course from each group.
Group I: The Medical Humanities
- Singing
- Musical instruments
- Spirituality, Health and Healing
- Medicine and Literature
- Medicine and Developmental Economics
Group II: Modern Languages
- Spoken Medical French
- Spoken Ghanaian languages (for Ghanaians; the choice will be one that is not their mother tongue).
Group III: Community Service
- Each student or a group of students choose(s) a community to provide voluntary service that will uplift the community.
